I bought both my fuzzies at 8 weeks from the pet store. They were on Marshall but I heard its the worst brand of food for them because they use grain fillers. So I bought ZuPreem grain-less. They took to it immediately. Best food for ferrets in my personal experience.

The ferrets love it!
I mix a combo of two different foods, one being this product, in their food bowl. That way if one gets hard to find or is no longer made I have one to fall back on. At first I purchased ZuPreem's other ferret food that is triangle shaped. The ferrets liked it, but it regularly would get lodged in the roof of their mouth and I would have to pick it out. This food does not upset their tummies and is the perfect size for them to eat :)

Good food but my ferrets would not eat it at all.

My ferrets and I love it!
When I first got my ferrets they were on Marshall's food. Their coats were dull and a little rough, they didn't have much energy, they smelled horrible,it just wasn't what they needed. Once I put this out, they wouldn't even touch the Marshall's food. They love it and it's good for them, too. After I switched them to the ZuPreem, their coats got shinier and soft, they smell Sooo much better than they did, and they play a lot more because they have more energy. Plus, I'd pay $25 at Petsmart or Petco for a 4lb bag.

Ferrets Love This Food!!
My two ferrets absolutely love this food. It lasts longer than the cheap, filler-type foods you find at regular stores. Great product and affordable price!

Great Food
My 2 ferrets love this food. It has done wonders for their coats and their poop doesn't stink half as bad as with other foods I have tried.

When I got my first ferret, the one thing my friend (who also has ferrets) stressed was to get them quality food, and recommended ZuPreem Ferret Diet. He started out on Marshalls, but took to this right away. The 2 I adopted later on also took to this food almost instantly. All 3 love it, their coats are so shiney & soft, their poo doesn't stink as bad as it did in the beginning, and they're all healthy as a horse, according to my vet. :)

Most ferret foods have too much grains for these carnivores.

While there are definitely better foods out there for ferrets (Zupreem tends to increase their poop smell), this is one of the 3 foods we have in their mixture that we can't seem to ween them off of, they love it!

I NO Longer feed Zupreem as the pea product added is suspected of causing stones.

Tried many diets but zupreem is just the best option in my opinion. Our exotic vet also recommended. Grain free is the best if your furry ball has digestive problems.

this says it has 30 % fiber is that right?
seems high when the corn free has 2.0
chuck on May 18, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hi there, thank you for pointing that out. The fiber should read 3.0%. I have sent it to our helpdesk to correct.
