My cats don't mind
The tablets are huge. I usually break them into smaller pieces and mix the tablets with other snack. My two cats will eat them all. I tried other hairball soft chews, they didn't like them and refused to eat. At least they eat this supplement. I think it helps. So far they don't have problem. this is my fourth bottles

My cat won't eat it
As soon as I opened the bottle and smelled this product, I knew that my cat wouldn't eat them, and I was right. I pulverized a tablet and mixed it with his food but the odor was still prominent, and he wouldn't eat his food. Everyone knows how picky cats are....what was Vet's Best thinking???? I've wasted $9.00. I'm a recent widow and I don't have money to waste.

My cat has bad hairballs and it is hard on her when she vomits, her bowels move at the same time. I've been told that this product will correct this issue

I use it on my cat and so far it has had no ill effects. My cat is an indoor outdoor cat so I can't swear by it; but it seems to work.

My cat has medium length hair and even though I brush him often he was having hairball issues. He likes to groom himself a lot. This seems to help.

when you say "mature" cats - how old should the cat be before taking this? My cat is 2 and doesn't like to be brushed and grooms himself a lot so lots of hairball issues.

BEST ANSWER: I assume that "mature" means not kittens. I think 2 yrs old would be fine for this. I find it works best when I smash it and mix it with a bit of wet food.
