Great toy!
My golden retrievers AND my Shih Tzu love this toy! I had to buy 3 because they all fought over it! You can use the Starmark flavor waves or the training treats in it or small kibble. You can even squeeze easy cheese or Kong squeeze treat inside the pockets. My dogs also love it without anything. It bounces funny and they like that. My goldens are heavy duty chewers--they tore up a Starmark tetraflex in minutes but the pickle pocket is super durable! Love it!!!

Perfect entertainer
Got this for my Weimaraner to pass the time between agility course runs. Fill it with peanut butter, cheese and treats. Freeze and serve. Cleans easily. Great product for large and small dogs.

Let's see her destroy THIS one!
If chewing were an Olympic Sport, our dog would not only get the gold, she'd reduce the podium to toothpicks during the national anthem. So we are *always* looking for chewable toys, interactive puzzle toys, any new thing to challenge her and keep her busy. This is a great distraction for the determined chewer. It is strong, but soft in her mouth, bounces and rolls in unpredictable ways, and, even after hours of use it looks almost like new.The one issue is that it really is not a treat dispenser. Once in, nothing is going to come out, and we have tried a lot of different treats added in a number of different ways. For our dog this is not a huge issue: it just means that, every so often, I have to dig out one of the treats to give her. If your dog is less determined, or easily frustrated, you might make sure to buy the associated treat, sold separately, since I suspect it is the only one of the shape and size to work.

good toy
the pocket picle is the only toy my 4 yr old pit Shadow does not destroy in one day.She enjoys getting treats from it ,and playing with it in general. She knows it by name "pickle",and is happy to bring it to you,but she wants it back.

Strangest, best chew toy EVER
You may encounter a dog now and then who can chomp a chunk out of this Starmark Pickle Pocket toy, but that will be rare. I bought my first one 3 years ago when a destructive chewer was coming to stay with me for a week. She had destroyed a Kong or two and lots of other toys. She loved this toy. She would settle down for 20 minutes at a time, chew a few little treats out of it and then just gnaw on it. Since then, we have added several more pickles to our toy selection, and they are all still intact after a lot of use by big, powerful chewers. Fabulous fetch toy, too, because of the erratic bounce and a soft surface that won't hurt teeth. It floats, and you can toss it in the dishwasher. What more do you need?

my vet recommended this toy after my dog broke a tooth while chewing on a beef bone (or a deer antler or one of her nylabones), my dog loves chewing very much but I will try and avoid her getting any more dental surgery from now on so she will try the pickle pocket

We have a Weimaraner that really likes this toy. It is very solid and has taken quite some time for her to destroy it.
