I have been giving my 10.5lbs Maltese dog Trifexis for 12 consecutive months now. But due to budget constraints, I want to give him Sentinel Spectrum instead because Trifexis is very expensive! Is it safe to give my dog a different brand of heartworm and flea prevention?
Clarky on Mar 22, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I would ask your vet more about the medication, and if it is the right choice for your dog. I have never used that brand before. I choose Sentinel, because the Heartworm, and topical flea stuff never seems to get rid of the fleas, and then I spend more money, and time trying to get ride of the fleas.
what if my dog is more than 100 pounds?

BEST ANSWER: This item is a perscription product. Any dosage questions should be directed to your vet.
