Great pads
Love these pads. Have a puppy who would tear up the paper pads, so needed something else. A friend had given me a small pad and was surprised at how well it works, even after being washed many times.

What a great find!
These pads are great! I have 2 small dogs that stay indoors during the day. I was spending a small fortune on potty pads as well as adding to the landfill. They are easy to use and my pups took to them immediately. I simply put one of their used paper potty pads on top of the Pooch Pads and they started using them as soon as they were laid down. I've washed them twice without putting them in the dryer (I used my paper pads while they were washing and drying and did an empty wash with bleach to clean the washing machine). They dried overnight and were ready to use the next morning. The quality is better than I anticipated and saves me about $50 a month. I definitely recommend Pooch Pads and will purchase more in the future.

When new, wash and they can be used for any purpose from the car to the house
We have rescue poodles and this is THE best product I have ever used. I was introduced one day when I was at Petco and I said it out loud (louder than I thought), why can't they make something that REALLY holds the urine and washable would be nice too. After all some people still use cloth diapers. The store manager was the person standing nearest me and he showed them to me. I fell in love with pooch pads on the first use. 3 blind dogs and they know the way it should feel under their feet before they urinate. God Bless whomever thought this up.

We think they're terrific!
We have been using Pooch Pads for years. We only recently found the extra large size and we love them. The dogs use them when we are not at home and we don't feel guilty for staying out all day. They wash well, and for us, last much longer than 300 washes. If you have senior dogs or just want the confidence that your dog is not uncomfortable when left alone, these are an excellent solution. To get them started, we put the paper ones on top.

great wee wee pads!!!
I purchased these pads for my puppies and they are great. They absorb a lot more than a regular wee wee pad does, and they are reusable/washable. I gave it four stars for quality because when I wash them, they let out this green lint which I'm guessing is what the inside of the pad is stuffed with. But over all, they are really good and I would buy them again when I need them.

Pooch Pad
Great product. Will save our floors and greatly reduce waste paper from piddle pads.

Maddie, our senior dog, just can't hold it like she used to. I have been using tons of Piddle Pads lining them all over the house, most of the time she would get 1/2 on and 1/2 off the pad. Then you have a bigger mess because it spreads all under the piddle pad. These Pooch Pads are great, they are very absorbent, she doesn't miss the pad so no more additional clean up. I bought a total of 8, that way I can have 4 down and 4 on hand. I wash them once a week and just hang them to dry. I was pleasantly surprised to see how clean they came out, especially since one of my 4 dogs had a messy accident on one, I was sure it would stain; but it didn't. Very easy to clean and the dogs seem to migrate towards them instead of willy nilly throughout the house. I LOVE THEM and saving the landfills and no more costly Piddle Pads to throw away!!!!!

PoochPads are Great!!
I have used the PoochPads for about 6+ years. I am still on my original purchase. I have a toy fox terrier. I have found I can just put them on 2 rinse & spin and they come out clean and with no smell. Once every 2-3 months I do regular cycle wash with just a small amout of bleach and 2 rinse. I have not put them in the dryer in years. I just lay them out and they dry really fast. This saves me on electric & water, also lots of money using these rather than disposables.I started using the 20x27 in the bottom of my small bird cage *canary & cordon blue finch. They worked so will, I just bought 6 30x32 for my 3 larger bird cages *one canaries, one Lady Gouldian finches and one has parakeets. They work really great for that too and saves the expense of the throw away cage liners. I bought extra so I could put clean ones in while the other are washing. I change and clean them daily. You just can't beat the price any where and are a must have for any and all pet owners.I love them!!!!

Perfect solution for home-alone dogs
Some days my work shift is 12 hours. That's too long for a dog to hold out, so I bought these pads to keep them from soiling my carpet. The dogs adapted to it quickly and easily. It really does prevent odors; I don't smell anything when I walk in the door. They are amazingly reusable after many washings. Unfortunately, they are a little expensive and I have 2 dogs so needed 4 large ones. But so far, they've washed and dried perfectly. I'm so glad I found them.

I use these items because it works best for my little dogs and me when the weather is bad or the neighborhood skunk is making it's trek through our yard. They also are very helpful when visiting friends and families homes.

This product works great. We are a dog rescue for Pekingese who don't go outside much. Most of them only go on these pads. Wash great and last a long time. I have probably gone through 50 of these over the last 11 years.

I have a puppy who needs help potty training. If I bought the disposable kind he would just shred it. The fact that these are reusable not only saves me money in the long run but is eco friendly.
Mallory S on Apr 25, 2014
The best pee pad on the market, super waterproof, and can be washed every day for a year if needed. Simply the best!

This is the BEST potty pad I have ever used. It is washable and lasts a very long time! It is great for use with the little breeds I foster for rescue. They're drawn to it, cant tear it; so they are quickly potty trained using this product. It is pricier than other brands but well worth the money!!!

My Shorkies really seem to prefer these to the regular disposables in a holder! Wish I would have known about these a couple years ago.

Is this for training or just in case your puppy does have an accident?
A shopper on Jul 25, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It can be used for either. I use this size in the whelping box and play pen. The pro side is it is durable and washable; the con side is it can be chewed. It is also great for older dogs that may be incontinent.
How long do you usually leave one down before washing? Do they absorb the urine so the dog will use it more than once? I know the answer will vary with how many dogs use them. What would a good guess for a small dogs that uses it 5 times total in 24 hours?
lunalu on Aug 4, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Hi, I have 3 min pins that use pooch pads a lot. When the pads are new, they work better at masking urine smell and do not leak. After about six months of washing them about every 3 days, they lose their ability to mask odors. With only 1 small dog you should be able to leave them down for 5-7 days or whenever you begin to smell the urine. Follow the washing instructions; one tablespoon of bleach and liquid detergent is all you need.
Are they odor proof?
A shopper on Jun 7, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I have adopted a very old breeder Pomeranian who has accidents in her crates all the time. I just wash them in my washing machine with regular laundry soap and I have never had an odor problem. I have washed them SEVERAL times and they have held up nice;y and some of the pads are at least six to seven years old.
how do you train a puppy to use this to begin with ?
Ann N on Oct 22, 2013
BEST ANSWER: We bought ours along with the pen so we kept our puppy confined in a small area while we were training him. He went on the pad, no problem. It's very nice, easy to wash. I'm not sure how he knew to go on it, I think it was more that he had to go and it covered the whole area of his crate, so he went on it. Once the scent is there then that's the spot. Anyway, I would recommend them. They are much nicer than the little disposable ones.
