Couldn't find these AIRLINE REQUIRED kennel food/water dishes in any of our local pet stores: PetCo, Pet Supermarket, PetSmart & mom-pop store. These are necessities for shipping our persian show cats in crates worldwide and the price is sensible. Highly recommend these crate dishes!

got what i expected & it was good enough
based on other reviews of this product that i'd read, i wasnt expecting anything from these beyond fulfilling the required presence of a "food/water dish" for my pets' cargo flight. also, based on other reviews, i'd already decided i was going to drill a couple of holes thru them and secure the dishes to the door of the crates with zipties.i dont have the tools to drill thru plastic properly, and i heavily improvised. my only concern was if these dishes were that cheap/flimsy to the point where i'd just crack thru the dish instead of making a ziptie-sized hole. but they were actually sturdy enough to tolerate my clumsy manhandling, so overall i was happy. then again i attached these to the door of crates with one cat each inside. if i saw this dish and i had my 134lb Akita to put on a flight, i definitely would not have been as generous with the stars in this rating!!

Not for my Doggies
I bought these to place in my puppies' crates while no one was home. These are small bowls and even though my puppies are small breed, they had trouble drinking from this bowl. It looks like it's more for birds. The bowl latches on to the wire of the crate. One of my puppies knocked hers off and spent hours sitting in a wet crate. My other puppy was able to drink all of his water, then knock it off and chew off the plastic latches that hold it to the wire. Now I just use regular bowls.

Well, I hope I wont be dissapointed because the picture of the product I ordered does not match the picture in this window that shows what i just ordered. The one on the website is a 2 compartment food/water bowl for dog travel crate. The picture displayed here shows only 1 bowl? That is called misrepresentation and can be liable for false advertising.... We will see what actually ships and I'll post another review then.

shipping pets requires one use a water and or food dish which is kind of ridiculous when the pup will not be eating or drinking and a short flight. this is adequate and cheap. some do not even stay on the crate doors. i drill a hole through them and add a zip tie. When things are so darn expensive, its good to have someone making a cheaper product.

Does this bowl count as 1 or 2 of the required water/food bowls for international travel? Thanks!
Sheree G on May 9, 2015
BEST ANSWER: i looked at the bowl that was divided. chose not to use as was afraid water would slosh into food side while cats were being transported. bought single bowls and added them to each crate with the bowl that came with the crate for a total of two single bowls for each crate.
plastic water bowls for attaching to travel crates but in a bigger size?
A shopper on Jan 16, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I buy a lot of water bowls for the travel crates for my thirsty pups as they travel to their new homes. I have bought a lot of these. I try to keep the cost down so instead of the more expensive dishes, i use these. Pups might chew them and take them off the door so i sometimes drill a hole in the top and put a zip tie on them.
could you please tell me the dimensions on the universal double bowl that is sold for airline travel with the live animal sticker? Some say they are universal but are actually too long for the gates on the small carriers
Deidre J on Feb 15, 2015
BEST ANSWER: i would say they are about 6 inches and only about an inch 1/2 deep. I dont use them. you really only need once compartment in a dish.
