Great feeder! Works perfectly for my 16 lb dog. Since we bought this feeder, my dog easily recovered from the neck issues. This is the perfect height for her.

great raised dish
works exactly as i wanted. the dish stays off the ground so my dog doesn't have to drop her head to the floor. the bowls snap in and out pretty easily to make for simple cleanup. it stays in place well with the rubber feet. 800 pet supplies also had the best price on the internet. i would totally purchase this again.

Perfect height for my Medium Size Bichon!
This is the perfect height for my sweet Bichon. The Vet suggested to get her a raised feeding tray to put less strain on her neck muscles & spine. This feeder fit our needs perfectly. They do however need to improve on those "bumper guards" that hold the bowls in place. UGH!! Every time they got wet, which was EVERY day, they would just come off when I removed the bowls for cleaning. My hubby finally just glued the darn things in place which made a BIG difference.

This product is wonderful! My dog, 18 pounds and 15 years old, is in great shape, but for his disk disease/horrible arthritis. I looked everywhere from the big chains to the specialty stores in Miami for a raised dog bowl set, or even one with one bowl and I would have bought two. They all were super big for a Great Dane or tiny for a Yorkie. Even the raised ones for mid-sized dogs I found were not really raised once the bowl went in as it sunk down low. THIS PRODUCT IS PERFECT FOR A MID-SIZED DOG. As I said, my dog is 18 pounds and it is perfect and now he is eating again as the height is perfect to alleviate his problems. It is made of great durable plastic and even the recess where you place the water has room for you to slide your finger under it when placing it in so as not to spill it. The bowls clean up nice as they are stainless; no chemicals from ceramics seeping into my dogs water. Seldom is there a product that is perfect in every way. Thank You!!!!

Good Value
I was attracted to this product because of price. It also happens to be the right height for my pug. It is made of plastic, which is fine for my dog, but may be too flimsy for larger dogs.

I originally bought this for my dog, a (now) 25lb mutt. But she is tall, so it only worked for her for a little bit. So I donated it to my sister's yorkie/maltese mix and its perfect for the little guy

Too Tall
Maybe I should have measured, but I looked at the size of the dishes, noticed they were smaller... and figured it was for a smaller dog. I have a Lhasa (19 lbs) and she would have a difficult time eating out of it. It's too tall for her. It would cost more to ship it back than it's worth... so I'm stuck with it. Maybe I'll find a friend who can use it. It seems nicely made.

I needed a feeder that my dog's collar with various tags on it would not catch in the feeder.

My pom/pek mix always gets his fur wet when eating out of bowls on the floor so I ordered this so that he has an easier time eating and I don't have to clean him up after!

The price here combined with shipping beat amazon and ebay both by $8. On a $21 total that was a savings of almost 30%. I will be back for any other or my pet shopping needs.

it will be easier for my 11 year old dog to eat her meals. It seems to be harder for her to eat bending her head low to the ground for the feeding bowl.

I've heard from several trusted sources that taller dogs should have their food dishes elevated.
Karen S on Mar 29, 2014
need it for 2 elderly large dogs who are having back issues, need to raise their bowls for comfortable feeding. Nice style, size & price.
TERESA A on Mar 6, 2014
I have a small breed dog that has spondilosis of the spine in her neck and lower back. Lately we noticed her being reluctant to eat with her dish below her chest. Elevating her dish helped, but the traditional bowl slides all over and gets knocked off the "platform" to easy. This should help to alleviate that.

Is this feeder appropriate for a large dog, around 80 pounds?
Jennifer W on Feb 26, 2015
BEST ANSWER: You need a taller feeder for your dog. Otherwise, the dog would get issues in the neck area. This feeder is perfect for my dog, but she is 16 lb.
Is the height adjustable,?
A shopper on Mar 3, 2017
BEST ANSWER: no it is a fixed height. you can remove the bowls and set them on the floor if that helps but the deck height is fixed. our dog is about 20-24" at the shoulder and this height is right on for her.
How big are the bowls?
Danielle G on Apr 19, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The bowls are 6 inches in diameter and 2-1/2 inches deep.
