Our older dog wasn't able to recover from her knee surgery very well and she subsequently picked up a nasty infection deep in the bones on top of her surgery- that took the better part of 8 months to recover. Our vet advised this supplement to help rebuild her bone structure (the infection weakened the healing process for knitting of bone tissue as it so happened). Needless to say, it worked, as it truly helped her body rebuild the connective bone tissue and she is now using the 'repaired' leg.
