Separate placebo-controlled masked multicenter field studies confirmed the anti-inflammatory and analgesic effectiveness of carprofen when dosed at 2 mg/lb once daily or when divided and administered at 1 mg/lb twice daily. Our dog requires Rimadyl to manage her spondylosis. A 60 day count is extremely expensive... except on 1800 Pet Supplies. The medication is affordable, and that fact it offers generic versions is a plus.
