Maybe they work for some dogs
We've been giving our dogs a little bit over the recommended dosage since March. First off, one of our dogs can't tolerate the flavor. But that would be fine IF they made a difference. They don't. We have an established lawn one one side of the yard and brand new sod on the other. Both of them have fresh yellow spots in them constantly. We dig them up and plant new seed. The only thing that keeps the urine (from male and female dog) from marring the lawn is if we are present when they urinate and we douse the lawn with water in that very moment. But to be fair, we have some friends who use this for their dog, and it seems to work wonders. I think it depends on the dog. Or the lawn. Or both. But it's not a sure thing.

what is the flavor? does it come with liver flavor?
A shopper on Jun 28, 2014
BEST ANSWER: All the same flavor. One of my dogs likes it. The other dog won't eat it at all--even slathered in peanut butter.
My mini-schnauzer is 15yrs old and has few teeth. Do you think he can chew these? Are they soft or hard? They say 'tablet' vs 'treat' that's why I am not sure. HE DOES NT\OT TAKE PILLS, PERIOD. If they are hard I can store them in a container with fresh bread to soften them. Need a remedy desperately. This choice is more affordable than the others.
LUCINDA B on Apr 23, 2014
BEST ANSWER: My dog won't chew the tablets either. What I do is crush them and mix with a little bit of wet dog food (about 1 tablespoon)and a small amount of warm water and that does the trick!
