This products is great for thick hairs dogs.
This worked great for drying my Bernese mountain dog but you have to be careful when you first turn it on because it is so powerful it knocks over. It is a little loud but it did the job.

will it also fluff coats?
A shopper on Mar 26, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Sure it can "fluff" coats. It really depends on the type of dog you have and how you want to fluff the coat. The various nozzles can slow down the air flow or speed it up. For a small toy breed, you would want to use a lower setting and wide nozzle to distribute the air . For something like a Husky or German Shepherd, you'd want to us it full blast to get the thick hair to stand up. I use it for my collies to both dry and blow out undercoat. It's small and flexible that way. It's a nice dryer.
