The top portion broke :(
The first two bottom levels are great. Soft carpet and sisal rope for scratching on every post. Yay! The very top portion however leaves much to be desired. My full grown cats weight is about 11 pounds and after about 6 months the post screw gave out. Boo! My husband cut a wood pole to shore it up, but it eventually gave out as well just because the post screw was stripped completely. Nope don't buy it! Find one where every level of the cat tree is fully supported!
Hmmmmm
Well, we bought the beige style of this one and it was great. Cats love it. Decided to get the white one.. Terrible craftmanship. The top part leans and will not get any tighter..Posts are not as thick as the beige one. The beige came with a hanging mouse and rope, the white one does not. I honestly don't even think they are the same manufacture..

I would just like to know if this product is sturdy and will hold up to multi cat households?

BEST ANSWER: I have one large cat. As soon as we put it together, I noticed the top shelf was not designed right and would'nt hold him for long before it would break, so I took the round piece that is vertical and propped it under the round horizontal piece and that has worked great! He sleeps on the top all the time and uses the many scratching posts! Hope this helps!

I have had this cat tree for about 5-6 months now and the only problem was with the top piece. You have to make sure it is screwed in tight. One of my bigger cats claimed that seat and it would tilt every so often and then finally broke off. When I would tighten it every few days if was fine. Otherwise it is a really good product.
I own this bungalow and have a single cat, regardless though yes it is perfectly sturdy. The pieces screw on and are very strong so unless the pieces aren't fully screwed on I don't see why it shouldn't hold up to multiple cats. Hope you found this helpful.
Yes, I would say it's pretty sturdy. The shelves are made of wood. I thought it was pretty easy to build too. The directions aren't great, but if you know how its supposed to look, its easy to figure out.
It could be my husband's man skills, which are none, but I have a hefty (12 lb) cat and the top bed is a little off kilter. But it hasn't broken and the cats really enjoy it.
