Great Product!
These balls are awesome tough chewers get the large ones, make sure they are screwed together tight, My pit loves these and they have lasted for years as long as he doesn't get them unscrewd. That took him a year to figure out. Definitely the best treat dispensing ball out there for tough chewers. My husky love them too!

Dog - Large
My dogs aren't into it.
I think it's a great idea and I thought they would love it, but it just sits in the corner untouched.

Well satisfied!
Exactly what I needed! My dog eats way too fast & slow feeders weren't working, so I bought 2 of the large size treat balls, left the white plastic treat cover out, & Shilow eats at a healthy pace while playing! At first she didn't know what to do with it, but she quickly figured it out! We are very happy with this purchase!!!

Fun, but broke right away
I thought this would be my dog's new favorite toy. She absolutely loved it! It was a good 2 hours of fun for her to get all the treats out. Unfortunately, we couldn't tell when she had gotten the treats all out and neither could she, so we didn't take it away from her when she was done. In just a few minutes of biting she got it open and gnawed the plastic edges enough that it can't be put back together. She's a little 2 year old Golden Retriever mix so she doesn't have the strongest jaw, but she likes to chew. If you have a dog with a medium-to-large sized mouth and they like to chew, they'll probably break this toy relatively quickly. However if there's a larger size toy like this one, I'd probably try that one out.

Standard Poodles, no. Pitbulls, yes.
I bought four of the IQ Treat Balls as gifts for Christmas: two for our own Standard poodles, and two for our "granddogs," who are pit bulls. Our poodles had zero interest, and they adore all other balls. One poodle takes a ball to bed with him, and is never far from one. Neither dog would even look at those hard, plastic cylinders. That was a wasted $20.The pit bulls like the IQ Treat Balls okay as long as the treats are coming out. One of them likes to carry it in his mouth, and he hoards both of them to keep the other dog from getting them. They also like to kick them across the floor. That was not a wasted $20.

fun, but noisy
Our dog is high-anxiety so this isn't the best choice for him. However, it is well-made and quite interactive. For the normal dog, it would be a great choice! Be forewarned, if you have wood or tile floors, it can get quite noisy.

good product
Watch out for the top and bottom coming apart while dog is playing with it. My dog played with it so well that it has disappeared. In the house somewhere.... just can't find it. HA.

occupied our ball-obsessed dog
We have a 50-lb German shorthaired pointer. He is obsessed with balls. He generally destroys them in about an hour. We received this ball yesterday, and it occupied him for quite awhile, until he got all of his food out of it. We tried two different types of food items. The hard dry food worked a lot better than the moistish training treats, which didn't seem to come out as well. The holes are quite small, and the food does not come out easily or quickly. I was worried that he would get frustrated, but he didn't. One reason they do not come out very easily is that the ball is bottom-heavy, while the hole is at the top. It held about 1/2 a cup of food. He was able to hold it in his mouth, and he did chew on it, but he did not damage it in the two sessions. I can't say yet how durable it is (how long it will hold up), since we only got it yesterday. But so far, so good!

keeps him very busy
My dog has recently become a solo dog w/ the death of his buddy. I wanted to get him a toy that was fun for long durations and could keep him entertained. This one does. I have some security cameras in my house and I see him playing with it when when we are away from the house. My only 'warning' is that it is loud on hard floors. He tries to 'throw' it down first then rolls it around. He destroys nearly every toy I get him in minutes and this has really held up. I highly recommend.

My sister has one for her dog and he loves it!
Carlen V on May 20, 2017
I had one before before it fell down the steps a few too many times. My little Beagle loves it and keeps her moving, it's great exercise and she gets rewarded for it each time a treat falls out of the ball. This one of the best investments you'll make for your dog IMO and the price is so reasonable that I will replace it as many times as needed. I had it for a year before it broke if anyone is wondering.

Love this, I have 1 and bought 4 more, I have a pit bull and a husky and they have really tough jaws and have not been able to break the Large one.

I have 4 small ones, but my pit bull broke it in 5 minutes, so I am re buying the large ones.

My dog loves this toy. She played with it at a releatives house. I had a hard time finding something similar in pet stores. I ended up doing an internet search, and this is the cheapest site I found it on.

Pam O on Dec 15, 2013
My dog rolls this ball around CONSTANTLY. She is obsessed with getting the kibbles out of it. Since the dog has to get the kibble through two "doorways" so it remains challenging!

How durable is the rubber? Would it be appropriate for an aggressive chewer?
A shopper on Dec 28, 2014
BEST ANSWER: The ball is hard plastic. The large ball is so large that it is difficult to chew because of the
size. Our dog really likes the toy, works well on carpet and hardwood ( really moves around
off the carpet!) Our dog (50+lbs) looks like a cat chasing it around!
I first bought the med size ball, our dog could get it in her mouth (barely) and the bite marks
made it hard to unscrew to refill. I put a bit of vaseline in rim to keep loose.
I buy hard "Temptations"cat treats to fill it with, they come out easy because of the small size and shape. Our dog really enjoys this toy!
