Best Brush Ever! Paws Down!
I definitely did my research before investing in this brush. For 45$ I needed to hear pros and cons. Some cons I came across were things like doesn't work well on dogs like huskies who have a thick under coat. And can create bald patches if used too frequently.I decide to give it a go and I couldn't be happier. It gets the undercoat like a dream. The first time I used it it looked like I had brushed a big cat out of him. I have a GSD so he is a big shedder. This has really helped out with the hair around the house. After using it I can see why this brush wouldn't work on a huskies. The brush teeth aren't long enough, and i got the one for long coats,I think to reach down to the bottom of the fur on dogs like that. As far as the balding spots we haven't had any. I could see that if people pressed too hard though. people get used to other brushes where they need to press harder to get the fur. This brush does this for you so just use moderate pressure and long strokes. It does the rest!

I needed a tool that would deshedd myAussie and nothing I looked at so far has helped. The lady that does the boarding suggested the furminator rake so I am going to try it. I hope it works for the price.

My mixed breed dog looks mostly like a beagle, but with much longer fur. I tried brushes, shedding blade (that worked the best at the time), and rakes, but couldn't effectively deal with her thick undercoat. Finally was advised to consider investing in a FURminator and it actually works wonders.
