My dog untwisted this toy in about 5 minutes so we can't use it again because she has completely figured it out. Also the shape is problematic because the treats cannot dispense due to the egg shape.

Survived three large dogs!
I bought this toy over 6 months ago. It has survived my pitbull, german shepard and bernweiler (all are excessive chewers). This keeps all three busy, rolling it all over the house, for hours at a time. (As long as I keep refilling it with food.)Great buy. Would reccommend to every dog owner who has dogs that need to stay busy and out of trouble.

Too noisy on hard floors!
This toy is hard plastic so is very loud on hardwood or tile floors. It works well in the grass if you want your dog to play with it outside. It is large and easy to fill, so if you want to feed a meal this way, it would work. But for dispensing treats, we prefer the StarMark Chew ball also sold by this site. The StarMark is soft on the nose and quiet on the floor, and seemingly indestructible.

Love it!
We fill this with dog kibble and it keeps our dog busy for a while. She's gotten very good at maneuvering it around. Great size and shape. Good challenge, but not too hard.

Better than expected
I was worried they weren't going to figure out how to get the food out, but it took them just a day to have it nailed. I did some clipping of the rubber 'fingers' first but not too much. They will spill and roll it around with ease. Great idea and keeps them busy during the day. I love it.

Puppy loves and does not get tired of it!
My 7 month old puppy absolutely loves this toy. I put his kibble (regular food)in it and he will play with it for hours all times throughout the day trying to get the food out. He will have food in his bowl, but would rather play with the ball to get his food out of it. He's had it for almost 4 months and still loves it just as much. I did have to clip the opening flaps just slightly, so the food would come out just a little bit easier. Even small kibble would not fall out. But he kicks it around about 5 times and a piece will fall out. I have to put it up at night, because he would play with it all night while we were trying to sleep. lol. The best interactive toy yet. A great investment! 100% satisfied.

All time FAVORITE toy!
My dog absolutely looooves this toy. We call it her 'space ball' and she carries it everywhere whether it has cookies in it or not. When I say everywhere, I mean it. She even brings it to bed with her.Considering she bounces it down the stairs or drops it off of a bed practically every day, they hold up quite well. We go through about one a year... which isn't bad considering how many times it falls onto the hardwood floors. My other dog doesn't care much about playing with it. He sure lingers when Moxie is kicking it around just in case a cookie goes astray!I highly recommend this for dogs that like a challenge. A tough chewer could certainly kill this toy, but they can usually kill any toy. The price on this website is amazing, by the way. I paid over $20 for one of these in a pet store before i knew any better!

Love it!
I have 3 dogs - akita/shepherd mix, boykin spaniel/black lab mix and mix(possible golden retriever mix). My Boykin absolutely loves this toy and goes nuts. He eventually gets the toy unscrewed even though I screw it super tight. Sometimes this takes him 5min sometimes 30. But it is very entertaining to watch. The rubber bumpers are great, however he has chewed some of them off. My other dogs love to follow him around and get the treats that fall out w/o having to do the work themselves but they will play with it if they are by themselves. They however cannot get the toy open. If you want to make it easier, you can just cut a little snippet at one or both ends. Great toy!! I'm ordering a 2nd one today.

Every Dog should have one!!
This is the Best Toy I ever bought my dogs. I put their dog food in each egg, each day.. and they Love it!! I had to take time to teach them to roll it and return it with their paw, but they learned fast and Love this toy!! If I could have just one toy for my dogs, it would be this one. An Absolute Must for any dog! I put up their bowls...

Great Product!
We've used this with 2 of our dogs so far...and they love it :) It is reasonably durable (of course if you have a super heavy chewer that destroys everything it would destroy this.....why in god's name would you expect it not to?!), my one does tend to chew things up fairly quickly, but he figured out the trick to this very quickly, and hasn't chewed on it all....he spent half the day kicking it around like a soccer ball to get all the food out! EXCELLENT time occupier for the dog that doesn't insist on destroying everything!

My dogs will only eat their dry food if I scatter on floor. I have a treat dispensing ball which they love, however the opening is too large for the dry food, so I am hoping that it will work with dry food.

will it stop your dog from digging?
A shopper on Apr 20, 2016
BEST ANSWER: No. Just makes it take a little longer for them to eat their meals. And supposedly keeps their mind active little bit longer
