Product Summary:

Back on Track Therapeutic Dog Hock Wraps

May help injuries heal more quickly and ease arthritic pain.  100% cotton fabric infused with Back on Track's state of the art Welltex fabric containing ceramic powder. The ceramic reflects your dog's natural body warmth and creates a soothing far infrared thermal warmth.  The Welltex ceramic fabric creates gentle warmth, which is a well recognized method that may help to relieve injured muscles, joints and tendons.  Designed to comfortably fit a dog's hock area, the four attached strips let you quickly fasten and remove the wraps, as well as adjust their snugness.  For specific injuries it is recommended that you speak with your veterinarian or therapist before starting treatment with the hock wraps.  Not to be compared with magnetic therapy.  Sold in pairs.  Care: Machine washable up to 86° F or 30° C.  Use normal detergents that do not contain bleach or fabric softeners.  Air dry only, do not tumble dry.  See Size Chart at right.
Note: Not for use on pregnant dogs.

Instructions for measuring:  The first measurement listed is the length along the non-Velcro side of the wrap when it is closed.  The second measurement is the circumference at the top of the wrap.  The third measurement is the circumference at the bottom of the wrap.  Measure the circumference of the dog's leg above and below the point of the hock roughly 2-3" depending on what size you may need.  The circumference measurement will help determine what size you will need.  Note: the Size Small is not for the smallest of breed.

I have an OLD blue heeler. She's healthy and still loves to work cattle. Her hocks are weak and the supporting tendons are as well. A vet recommended these braces last year. At first she wouldn't move with them on, but as she discovered the strength and stability they gave her she learned to like them. This is my second set, the first ones were a little small so I ordered a M this time.
