Assembly instructions here!
First: Set aside removable pull outs. The removable divider and cage bottom grills are distinguishable by their handles. These insertions won't be used until after assembly. Second: Divide cage pieces from stand pieces. Stand pieces include 3 stand supports with casters, 4 cross bars, 2 grill shelves, nuts & bolts in 3 lengths. Third: The stand should be constructed first. [Note: All bolts should be tightened only once all stand parts are loosely bolted. 3 lengths: The base uses some short bolts and some long. Reserve the very longest bolts where the bottom shelves adjoin the middle support stand (bolts go through 3 bars). Use next-to-longest bolts to adjoin the shelves to the side support stands. Shorter bolts will be used for the rest.] Arrange stand pieces and bottom shelves pieces using longest bolts to adjoin the 2 shelves to the middle frame (the bolt goes through 3 bars). Your layout is only correct if the small alignment tabs (where the cage will sit) point up (i.e. hold the cage in place) and are on the interior of the assembled stand. Assemble the cross bars with the shortest bolts. Fourth: Arrange cage pieces for assembly; do not begin until the arrangement appears visually logical. Arrange left cage and right cage as if they were meant to be 2 separate cages. Essentially, the top is two cages adjoined without a middle wall or a bottom. Each top javascript:half has front piece, back piece, exterior side piece, and an interior rectangular frame. (Note: The cage halves are assembled with no bottom. There will not be a bottom until you insert the removable tray or slide out bottom grill.) The exterior side pieces have a support track for the slide out tray and grill. Likewise, each interior side wall, or "no-wall frame", also has the same support tracks. The two interior frames will ultimately sit back to back. Arrange the pieces according to color and visual logic ensuring that the tray supports are facing the interior of each cage half. Assemble one cage half at a time. The top rectangle will confirm each cage its shape. Once each half is assembled, set each half atop the stand keeping eye on the stand's metal guidelines. The cage rests on the outside of these metal tabs. Insert trays and pull outs. Insert divider if desired. This cage design is a merger of 2 separate cages. There is one difficult to clean space gap between the two middle bars between the two white trays. To prevent my finches' seed hulls from accumulating here, I covered the gap with easily removable painter's or masking tape.

exellent buy
I have 5 of these cages and they are very nice, good quality and offer the most " real estate" for the money. The instructions are not the best but you don't really need them - the assembly is straight foreward and not rocket science - the cage will hold anything up to the size of a conure or small parrot - the wire is coated but won't withstand a large parrot I would guess

Pretty Good for Price
I was debating for a long time whether to get this cage or another one by HQ. In the end, this was cheaper, so I went with it! I like that this cage comes with little tabs to prevent smart animals from pushing out the bottom grates, and I also like that the top of the cage secures with 2 more bolts than the HQ version does. BUT the HQ is better made. A few bars on the A&E were bent during manufacturing. They look like they weren't cut evenly and stuck in anyway. Also, there were quite a few sharp edges that I had to sand off. Overall, this cage is pretty good, though!

Excellent cage
I am very happy with this cage as are my finches. They have a lot more room to fly and seem happy to be in this huge cage. As indicated by other reviewers, the assembly instructions are about useless and it did take time to put together but I think it is worth the time and frustration! If not using the divider the gap between the cages would have to be covered with something if housing finches as they would be able to escape.
