The Zoo Med Micro Clean Aquarium Filter is great for mini tanks. This mini-filter is perfect for aquariums or terrariums housing amphibians, and also for small desktop aquariums. The filter can be used in fresh or salt water applications. It also contains the unique Micro pump 104.

Great for small/medium tanks up to 30 gallons, the filter comes with a multi-function internal filter for aquariums, terrariums and small ponds. The dual intakes capacity of the pump prevent debris from blocking the water intake grill.

does this filter work for turtles?

Best Answer: It could, but you'd have to clean it a lot. Turtles are usually very dirty animals; they do "everything" in the water. I usually recommend rather large filters to take care of turtles, but it also depends on what type of habitat you're keeping (including how high is the water level) and how big the turtle(s) is/are. This might do for a small guy, but an adult would easily overpower this thing (both in waste production and just physically knocking the filter around).
