Capacity incorrect, 9/17/2011

I'll second the review below - the capacity of the bowls is not accurate. I bought the 32 oz bowl and was able to fill it with only 28oz of water - to the very brim. Someone wasn't measuring properly when they assigned the sizes to these bowls. I also received one purple bowl in great condition, the other one already scuffed. I prefer to put the wear & tear on my items, so that is going back along with the smaller set which is virtually useless to me with a large breed dog. I will buy bigger ones because they ARE attractive and easy to clean. I might try the skid-free ones, though.

I have four dogs and three cats. I decided to get new bowls for my dogs and liked the idea of stainless steel in different colors. Because I feed my medium to large size dogs twice a day, the amount that I feed is from 3/4 to 1 1/4 cup at a time depending on the activity level of my dogs. I first purchased the 2 cup bowls and was so very surprised at how small they looked. Okay, I thought, I'll use them for the cats and get bigger ones for the dogs. I just got the 32 ounce bowls and again was surprised at their small size so I decided to measure. These 32 ounce (4 cup) bowls only hold 3 1/2 cups. That measure is to overflowing. False advertising!
