These socks are knee-high, and fit very comfortably under my breeches, without adding bulk under both breeches and half-chaps. My paddock boots are rather roomy, so I layer some thicker ankle socks over these, and I have a better fit. Over all, I'm very pleased!

These socks are just enough to cover the boot area of my calf, which is amazing in the summer because your not wearing extra layers like knee socks, ect. The purpose of them is to wick away moisture and keep your feet warm.. not to make them cold. If people are going to review I would at least expect them to read the description.

I bought these socks to go under my chaps. Well I don't know about you but aren't boot socks supposed to come up to about the top of your boot? Well these socks did not. I was dissapointed and they did not keep my feet cool. if anything they made them hotter. I do not recomend these socks!

After one washing they started to fray. They worked well (moisture wicking), however I do not believe that they will last me very long before they need to be replaced.
