i just pulled a koi from what used to be a lake=currently a pond (no rain). the fish are covered in slim, the algea tons of which I have racked out is slimmy:( what do I use?

Best Answer: I have found this product helps more than any other. what I have is a small pond turning into a waterfall that cascades down 5' into a raised pond of about 8'. the main thing you have to have is good circulation which I have by having a pump to get the water back up to the top. I only have algae problems in the upper part of the water fall as it drops down to the pond and the fish and plants keep the bottom pond so clear I can see small pebbles in the bottom of the lower pond. sun also causes a lot of algae. hope this helps.
