Don't buy this!, 8/25/2011

It's funny, I wanted a dog whistle that didn't cost a fortune and I founf this one. It was cheap so I purchased additional products. Well the one thing I really wanted doesn't work. It is not silent and my dogs did not wake up no matter how I adjusted it. I have tried everything for their barking and really hoped this would do the trick. :(

NOT SILENT BUT IT WORKS!!, 3/30/2010

Our yorkie loves to stand guard near our front glass door and bark at anything that comes near. blow the whistle (which makes a loud shrilling noise)and he immediately stops barking. Now all I have to do is tell him I'll get the whistle and he does not bark. It is definitely not silent but has done the job and I am very thankful!

I bought this to help correct my 2 Chihuahuas excessive barking. As with the previous reviews, this whistle is not silent. When I attempted to use it, my dogs just kept on barking!

owner of 3 dogs and a pet care business, this whistle is not silent, it makes a weird noise, no matter how you adjust the end. $1.99, wasted. but other products on here are extremely affordable and the clothes fit perfectly according to size chart! will shop here again

Silent? Nope, 2/3/2009

This whistle is not silent, and my dogs don't even look in my direction, no matter how i adjust the screw on the end. I have 3 dogs and know what a response is, there is no response from this whistle unless it makes a little noise and they just look at me to see what I am doing. for 1.99 , I suppose that is what you get. There are more expensive whistle's on other sites, but i'm not sure i will try another. not worth even $1.99

Whistle, 4/25/2008

It took only a few days for my Schnauzer to respond to the whistle. I initially trained him with a treat when he responded. It isn't silent, but it works for us.
