Rated 5 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 5 out of 5 by This food is amazing. I have 2 cats both female, 10 years and 8 years of age which gained weight after they were spade. For several years I tried numerous "high quality" cat foods for them all claiming to be the best on the market for cats with their metabolism and got no result. All those foods are high in protein which we all know cats need. However, indoor cats that don't get as much excersize need more fiber in their diet which is what this food provides for them. I've had them on this food for about 9 months now and the results didn't come right away but a friend of mine who is a Vet suggested this food for them and said to keep them on it and I would see results. After 3 months the 8 year old started to lose weight and after 5 the 10 year old started losing weight. The 10 year old weighed about 25 lbs. and the 8 year old 28 lbs. They have since then lost 5 lbs and 7 lbs. I just feed them once a day when I get up, about 16 oz of food in an autofeeder and let the food do the rest. This food is a little more expensive than the regurlar everyday Purina or Iams but it's well worth the few exra dollars because it works!!! November 7, 2012
