I like the ramp covers but I wish they sold more colors than just teal and purple.

One of the reasons I purchased a new cage and ramp covers was that my ferrets kept getting their feet stuck in the old wire cage. My older baby hadn't been climbing around the old cage but in this new cage, she's all over it. At first, she was hesitant with the ramps but these covers give her more traction and I don't worry about her getting stuck. She's more active and seems happier - or maybe I'm happier but either way, I love them!

The quality was decent, but like others said, the cover seems a bit too short.
My rats seemed fine with the cover. However, all three covers were chewed into oblivion within a week. When I saw the price for replacements, I bought a cheap pack of calf-length, cotton, athletic socks and never looked back.
The socks are long enough to pull all the way up the ramp and poke the clips through so they stay up fine. If my rats chew the sock off, it's cheap and simple to pull on another on. I paid about $10 for 10 pairs of socks from Walmart. That's 20 "ramp covers" at 50 cents each. :D

One of these came with my model 181 cage. The material is really nice, it fits the width perfectly, but doesn't fit the length of the ramp. I stretched it as far as possible, but the sides pull back, and my ferrets will try to play with the corners. Also the Velcro that holds it on the ramp is only in the middle of the end. That is the reason the sides pull back.
They should have made this half an inch longer and had the Velcro go all the way across.

These ramp covers are a great product! They are very soft and reversible. After I use the purple side on top for a week, I flip the cover over & use the teal side for another week before washing (gentle cycle). I have 3 ferrets, & they run up & down the ramps well with these covers, unlike another brand I have tried in the past. I am sorry to see that some other ferrets have actually had trouble with these covers, but mine use the ramps fine. I like that their little soft feet do not have to walk on wire anymore. I use mine continuously. They are durable, as I'll soon have them in use for a year. I highly recommend these ramp covers, & so would my pampered weezels!

I loved that these came with the new cage that I bought for my little guys. That was about 3 months ago. Recently, however, one of my little sneaky fur balls figured how to pull the covers off! I would like to keep using them, but now that he's figured that out I can't keep them on :( I wish I knew of a way around that. Otherwise, they are awesome!
