The Oceanic Systems Biocube Mini Hydrometer remains submerged inside the aquarium for continuous monitoring of salt levels. The compact design of the hydrometer allows discreet placement and will not affect the natural beauty of your reef or saltwater aquascape.

·         Use for periodic or continuous salinity and specific gravity readings

·         Certified calibration for accurate measurement of aquarium salt levels

·         Space-saving

·         Allows discreet and accurate measurement of aquarium salinity and specific gravity

·         Submerge hydrometer approximately six inches below the water line

·         Attach to glass in desired area using suction cup

·         If necessary, gently tap hydrometer to dislodge any air bubbles

·         Read specific gravity on scale. Recommended specific gravity is 1.021 to 1.026 for most marine aquariums

·         For first time use, submerge hydrometer first 24 hours before taking initial reading to allow the needle to be seasoned

·         To clean, soak in lukewarm water or vinegar for 30 minutes. Rinse with fresh water and air dry

·         If hydrometer remains submerged in the aquarium, clean monthly to prevent algae growth

·         Remove unit from aquarium, soak in vinegar for one hour

·         Rinse thoroughly with fresh water and air dry before returning to aquarium
