Is the pan metal or plastic?
KyLee on Oct 26, 2013
Best Answer: The pan is plastic. So far, it's holding up in one crate because Diesel always just chews his beds. But now, Bruno is starting to chew the pan in his crate. They're both VERY destructive, which is why I needed the crates in the first place.

I've had both crates since January and they're great! So far, with the exception of Bruno's pan, they're both holding up very well. They were easy to put together, too.

Does this crate come with a pan.?
Jane saladino on Feb 12, 2014
Best Answer: no. if you need one, they sell them separate. however, the pans are the same density that are used for a xxs cage...I know my danes would break through it in a few minutes. their bones are such, you need to put a dense cushion in it for them to lay on anyway.

Does this crate come with a pan or does it have to be purchased separately?
A shopper on Oct 15, 2014
Best Answer: If I remember correctly I had to purchase the pan separately. Its a great kennel, very big but sturdy it worked for our dogs great!
