Product Summary:

Leather Training Dog Collar by Mendota®

The Mendota® Leather Training Dog Collar works just as a slip collar, it tightens when your dog pulls and loosens when he responds to your correction, however this collar can also be used as a rolled collar with a floating ring for lead attachment. 1" wide with roller buckle, center “safety” ring and slip ring. English bridle leather tanning process - all vegetables dyes.

Sizes:
16" x 1"
18" x 1"
20" x 1"
22" x 1"
24" x 1"

Please Note - Mendota Training collars are measured from the middle of the buckle to the middle adjustment hole. This allows 2” of adjustment larger or smaller. There is no need to add inches to the actual measurement of your dog’s neck. The size of the dog’s neck is the collar size needed.

Measuring Method #1:
Simply measure your dog's neck at the base with a measuring tape or string. Allow room to slip two fingers between the measuring tape or string and your dog’s neck comfortably for the proper collar size.

Measuring Method #2:
You can also use your dog's current collar measurement if it fits correctly. Just unbuckle the collar, lay it out flat and measure from the adjustment hole being used to the center of the buckle. We have found that this is usually the most reliable measurement to use.
