Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product This is a great product for my ferrets to prevent hairballs. I feel good knowing it will help cut down on the chance of hairballs, since one of my ferrets had surgery for an obstruction before :( My ferrets just lick it right off my finger. And I also use it for one of my ferrets to give his medication in (pill form). He just licks it right up. This is a great price here too. It's 10.99 at PetSmart! This is the cheapest I've found it. I'm very satisfied with this product. July 5, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love Fuzzies LOVE this and it is easily administered! Gives me peace of mind knowing that my fuzz butts won't get blockages! I give a pea sized amount every couple days and a little more if their droppings don't look right! June 21, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Ferret Owner Must Have I can not stress how important and how much of a life saver this stuff is. I highly recommend getting them on it from day way to prevent problems in the future. Mine were unsure of it at first, but soon got hooked. April 2, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome Product! I use this all of the time for my ferrets and it works like a charm! When they see me get they all start chirping and can't wait for their turn! They just gobble it right down! The price on here is unbeatable! At the pet store it costs anywhere from 7.99 to 8.99!!! It's always around 4.99 or less on ferret.com!!! Love it! October 12, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by ok This stuff smells bad to the human i don't know what ferret would want to take this. It really does help remove the hair balls. my fuzzy has hair balls all the time. giving him little of this helps with the hair balls July 22, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Product My ferret loves this product and so do I because it is a life saver remedy for hairballs. July 16, 2011
Rated 1 out of 5 by This stuff is junk anymore I have used Marshalls ferret lax for almost 2 years when I first bought it it was great but not its getting worse the syrup just runs out of the tube and Bandit does not like the syrup so I have to squeeze all of it out wasting over half a tube.....I will not be buying this product anymore.... Rated 5 out of 5 by Check expiration date if ferrets won't eat... Ferret lax is a life saver, no doubt. And, they love the taste! For those who say their ferret won't touch it, you might check the date. This, like any product with oil in it, can go rancid, making it taste awful. I've had to throw away brand new tubes before for this reason. It's a vital health care product for ferrets, as they can get intestinal blockages easily, even if it is just a large hairball.
