I have found that the toy size works great for my Golden Retriever pups from around 1 week old to 3 or 4 weeks. Then I go to the regular size. I like the narrowness of the toy size and would like even a longer narrow ones if possible. I have thought about buying two sets of toy length to extend the length before going to the wider ones. I would also like a couple more colors as I had 9 pups last time and no one wanted white.

I used these when my dog had her litter of pups. I really liked them. I was able to take them off and clean them and put them back on, when necessary. Also, when my pups were ready for theyre new homes I let the new owners have the band theyre puppy wore and they seemed to like that. They are also safer than putting string or tying clothe around a puppys neck!!!

I purchased two sets of them several years ago and still use them for taking pictures. I don't leave them on the puppies as should they get wet they shrink funny. But over all a really good product.
