nice concept, but they stretch, 8/8/2012

I was really excited to see these collars available for sale. What a great combination of practicality: personalized AND reflective. Price is right, too! I have no problem with those aspects of the collars. My complaint is that these collars stretch. I don't know if it's because of the reflective material or what, but even once I figured out how to "lock" the collar to the size I needed it to be to fit my dog's neck properly (by moving the slider piece right up to the adjuster buckle), I find it is still stretching out. I feel this is not safe, especially for my puppy who could, if he tried hard enough (or maybe even WITHOUT too much effort), could wriggle his way out of the collar while on his leash. I understand that I can't return them because they are personalized, but I have just ordered personalized collars from another supplier that offers a no-questions-asked return policy. Thanks petsupplies.com, but this product just didn't work for me and my dogs.

Highly Durable Collars!, 12/8/2010

I bought two of these over a year ago for my lab mix and my shepherd mix. They are high energy, so I run with them in the evenings. I really liked that this collar had the reflective material for higher visibility in the dark. Added bonus was that I could personalize it with our cell phone number for added peace of mind if they ever "escaped". The nylon collar, clasp and buckles have held up really well to several washes (in the washing machine) and my dogs' rambunctiousness. The reflective material is finally starting to wear down to nothing, so it's time for new ones.
