This is a good pool toy or in my case a pond toy. Good for fetch but not for tugging. The rope could be a little tougher but overall good for the price.

You can put a washer inside attached to the rope and the rope will not come out. Just pull out the stuffing and then stick it back in after putting the washer on the rope.
Works for hard pulling and shaking police dogs.

The rope will come out of the Kong when you play tug-o-war with the kong and your dogs. It's easy to push the rope back through using a rod or something sturdy. My dogs have even chewed the rope off and I simply replaced it with rope used for water skiing.
We've used a Kong for our dogs for more than 10 years. Not once have the kong itself ever been destroyed!

This is a great toy-tough and durable! I don't engage in tug-o-war as the nylon rope will come out and if left unattended, she will chew the rope apart. The rope frays with wear and can be replaced if it gets near the breaking stage. To replace the rope, the bottom seal must be broken to thread the new rope through, which causes it to fill with water and sink. When we go outside to play fetch, she literally jumps for joy. I keep a spare as she would be lost without this toy. Get one, your pup will love it, too!

Our golden retriever LOVES this toy! She is always in the water and we throw it in the pool and around the yard. So far, it has held up really well. The rope gets a little frayed over time, but it is still one of her main toys.

This toy is the only outside toy that our Golden plays with and would play day and night if we'd let him. It floats (at least until it gets worn out) which is great for water games. If the rope breaks, we've bought nylon boat rope and pushed it back through to replace it and works just like new. I always have at least two new ones just in case. This is one toy that I would recommend that will give your dog hours of fun and not be destroyed in minutes!

Spike found this toy in his toy basket when we first brought him home and it has been the one toy that he seeks out every time its play time for the last 5 years. We use it for fetching games and for tug. The rope pulls out way too easily and we've found it a lot easier to just keep buying new ones (we buy them 6 at a time) rather than putting the ropes back in. (When we do put the rope back in, we reinforced it with a rubber washer which is a great fix… it's just time consuming and a little tricky to do it).
This price ($7.99) is great! I once paid $15 at a pet store.
We are never without this toy!

I have purchased two of these toys and in both the yellow rope has come out. I can't figure out how to replace it. My two Boxers play with it at the beach, for retrival only. I think there's a flaw in the construction.

I have 5 dogs of varying sizes. My 15 lb Pub and my 85 lb Lab play tug of war with this...although it isnt much of a contest, they have fun! The rope end allows for multiple dogs to get into the fun and I have a blast watching them. Its super durable too. My Corgi can chew through anything, but not this!

Our 8 month old Portuguese Water Dog loves to fetch this toy out of the Gulf waters. He is just learning how to fetch and it is clearly visible in the water and is easy to grab by the rope or ball. We dont let him play with it besides fetch because he would destroy the attached rope. I would reccomend this to anyone as a beach toy.

I have a 90 pound Black & Tan Coonhound mix who just loves this toy! We bought her the largest one available and shes enjoyed swinging it around since the day she got it... Beware, however, this toy is big and heavy! Its like a weapon in the mouth of a stong dog! If you have small children or lots of breakables, I advise you to stay away from this one.

My 1 12 year old lab and 3 year old Shepard mix dogs will play with this forever. The long rope allows them to carry it together back to me so I can throw it again. It works great in the water and in the back yard!
