My dogs love these, and my vet says that's why my dogs have never had dental problems-- even when they reach their golden years!

A few months ago I thought I had discovered a miracle. The Teenie Greenies lasted all day and my dogs loved them. They cleaned up their teeth and cured their abominable breath. Then, the formula changed. They now last about 15 minuutes and don't seem to do anything for their teeth. The bad breath is back. Worthless!!

i started my mini poodle on these, one every morning while I have my coffee, its become a ritural. The old formula he would vomit up about once a week, hard to get out of the carpet. The new formula he dosen't vomit. Either way he has terrible teeth - plaque and stained bright yellow...

I've been giving my Dobie Greenies since she was 6 weeks old... I even crate trained her with Greenie pieces! She loved them so much she was trained within a week - at 7 weeks old!!! She loves them, and it really does make a difference in the condition of her teeth!
When she was a 10 pound puppy, and I could get the teenie size with 90 some odd pieces in a box, they were incredibly affordable! But now that she's 70 pounds and I've adopted a German Shepard its changed a bit!
My dogs should be getting the large size, but with 17 in a box (vs 27) and using 2 a day the regular size works just fine! Their teeth are still clean!
I obviously love them enough to find ways to keep buying them! I do think they are ridiculously overpriced for larger dogs, but with discounts and deals from Dog.com I can at least afford to keep them in the regular size!

My dog comes running to the sound of the word greenie. They are a little expensive, but worth it. The vet says she has beautiful teeth now!

I have a 140 lb Newfoundland who garners a lot of attention when we're out and about...so many people (and our vet) have commented on how beautiful her teeth are....our vet even asked if I brush her teeth (I don't) but she is a greenie lover, and it shows!!

My dog gets 3 different kind of treats when I leave and she always goes for the greenie first! And they're better for her than raw hide.

I have used Greenies for all of our dogs including new puppies and 18 year old Springer Spaniels. I was very impressed when I first bought them how well the tarter was removed. The new formula though is too soft, doesn't remove the tarter as well and only lasts a minute or two at best vs 5-10 minutes in the past. Please go back to the harder more useful formula as it works much better

The old greenies gave a lot of chew time. Now it is gone in three gulps and she is visibly uncomfortable as the chunk slides down her throat. I'm going to use them up and not re-order. Chicken dumbells offer more chew time, tooth cleaning action and better ingredients. Don't like the new ones at all!!

i'd bought greenies for my parent's dog several months back, and, since he loved them and they helped with his stinky breath, i decided to get them for my new chihuahua pup. he loves them! we also got them for his best friend, a springer spaniel, who will do anything for a greenie. the chi's teeth are still puppy clean and the springer's mild case of gingivitis has much improved since she started getting daily greenies. we haven't had carpet staining or digestive problems at all. wish they weren't so pricy!

I don't know what they put in these Greenies, but my dog is addicted! She gets a Greenie every morning after she finishes her breakfast. She gets so excited that she just cannot sit still. And she will cry if we do not act fast enough. Her teeth and gums are very healthy and she NEVER has bad doggie breath and I know it's because of the Greenies!

My 2 yr old pitbull is a major chewer. I started her on Greenies when she was about 6-7 months, they are now a staple for the whole family. I now have 2 pits that love their Greenies and my 2 older cats love their feline treats too! Im thinking of buying stock in the company :)

My three dogs literally spin and jump around when I ask if they want a Greenie. My 13-year old collie pretends to be deaf when Im calling her in from the yard UNTIL I say, in a normal tone, You want a Greenie Shes not hard of hearing!! There is no comparison to any other treat. It gives them all great breath, as well, which is the added bonus.

My GSD loved the old greenies and she loves the new ones too. Unfortunately the new ones creat loose stools, so I have to limit how often she gets one. Carrots are the back up treat.

The good newsbad news of Greenies - my 2 Cairn terriers loved their Greenies and would have done anything to get one. But, one of my dogs started losing all of her hair, was excessively oily and developed acne-like pimples. After vet visits and lab test, the process of elimimation got me to thinking. I realized that she was allergic to the wheat in the Greenies. It has taken a year but she has deveoped a great coat of hair.

I like the different sizes, Korki is a toy yorkie, so he likes the petite size. He will wait at the counter for one and chew it all day. In fact I have to make sure he eats the other dog food first or he will eat just the greenie.

My girl dog seems to love the new Greenie as much as old ones but I do not. The new one is very stiky and so makes her hair messy. Additionally, she coughs when she eat it. It semes like something stick to her throat. I wish we have old one back.

I think the new formula is horrible and the treats are no more entertaining than a small biscuit. For 18 bucks I can buy gobs of treats that last the same moments it takes my dogs to consume these.

My dog still loves the greenies! He cant imagine starting a day without one. The old formula was a favorite and he worked on each for some time. Though hes done quicker now, its still a special part of his morning. For me, its nice to know theres less chance of harm from this formula.

my dogs loved the original ones...the new ones are too soft and chewy, they stain the carpet, and my dogs dont like them as much. The original greenies they would run for and do about anything to get--the new ones seem only slightly interesting for them. TOO BAD YOU CANT ALSO GET THE ORIGINAL FORMULA.

My dogs go crazy over the Greenies, new & old formula, I just wish the new ones would last longer maybe they can come up with a safe formula that makes them chew them longer. My dogs will beg & bump me until I say Greenies, then they run to where I keep them!

The new greenies are terrible. The dogs eat them in seconds, and now my little guy is getting green loose stools from them. Ill hae to figure out something else to feed them as treats. Very disapointing. The cost is way too much now too.

I have noticed that my dogs will consume a new greenie in no time. They have not reacted to the different blend. I am just grateful that the company responded to the health concerns of the earlier formula.

Dogs still love them but the new formula will stain the carpet. One of my dogs loves to lick them and I have to put a towel underneath so that it doesnt stain the carpet. I wish they could fix this.

The new Greenies are like plastic inedible toys. My dog who loved the old Greenies hates these. My puppy who eats anything ignores the new formula Greenies. I wish the company would offer both versions and let the consumer decide which to buy.
Ive switched to Smokehouse chicken breast tenders which are probably healthier anyway. Still I feel bad since Wendy wants her old Greenies and I cant get them for her anymore.

Although my dog still loves the new Greenies, he gets through one of them in NOTHING FLAT. The old ones used to keep him busy for a lot longer, maybe as long as 20-30 minutes -- sometimes, hed even bury them, and finish them later. And the worst part is that the new Greenies still cost just as much as the old ones. For how quickly these new Greenies disappear, there are many other edible chews out there . . . I only give them 2 stars, because my dog still loves them. Otherwise, Id only give them 1 star.
