Rated 5 out of 5 by She love's them. My dog comes running to the sound of the word greenie. They are a little expensive, but worth it. The vet says she has beautiful teeth now! January 22, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by a winner I have a 140 lb Newfoundland who garners a lot of attention when we're out and many people (and our vet) have commented on how beautiful her teeth are....our vet even asked if I brush her teeth (I don't) but she is a greenie lover, and it shows!! November 29, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Treat My dog gets 3 different kind of treats when I leave and she always goes for the greenie first! And they're better for her than raw hide. November 26, 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by LIKE OLD FORMULA MUCH BETTER, SO DO OUR DOGS I have used Greenies for all of our dogs including new puppies and 18 year old Springer Spaniels. I was very impressed when I first bought them how well the tarter was removed. The new formula though is too soft, doesn't remove the tarter as well and only lasts a minute or two at best vs 5-10 minutes in the past. Please go back to the harder more useful formula as it works much better August 3, 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by greenies treats my dog loves these... however... he used to enjoy them alot more before the new formula... they don't last but a few seconds now and he seems so disappointed... I am too... why change a good thing?? April 24, 2009
Rated 1 out of 5 by Chokers The old greenies gave a lot of chew time. Now it is gone in three gulps and she is visibly uncomfortable as the chunk slides down her throat. I'm going to use them up and not re-order. Chicken dumbells offer more chew time, tooth cleaning action and better ingredients. Don't like the new ones at all!! April 24, 2009
Rated 4 out of 5 by Just TOO Good!! i have 3 kids over 30 pounds who won't let me out of the door in the mornings without giving them their greenie!! Fortunately they don't know greenies come in sizes bigger than petite!! February 6, 2009

How well do greenies clean and help bad breath?
Jim L. on Sep 11, 2013
Best Answer: Greenies won't be the only product you will need to keep your dog's teeth clean but they do help some and really help with the bad breath. My jack russell had a teeth cleaning and extraction in January and her latest check-up last week (8 months later) the vet recommended some enzyme toothpaste to rub on her gums once a day. My dog absolutely LOVES her greenies!!
