Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 21 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by terrible product Used this for a 6 months on my golden retriever. In the winter it worked fine, we had a trying of warm days in the spring after taking a walk in the woods I pulled off 31 deer ticks... 31!!!! I called the company and the following is what i was told. The active ingredient takes up to 24 hours after contact with the dog or biting of the dog. I then asked what was the point of buying a product to reduce the chances of lime disease when i takes until after a bite to work! the rep told me quote "lime disease is not transfered in a bite until after 48 hours" QUOTE! Like somehow the bacteria abides by some rules of physics. Perhaps it was a bad dose i offered the batch number, maybe not but if this is the companies official stance, i have to question their legitimacy. Switched to K9 advantix... love it April 22, 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by Long time user I have used this on a poodle and a lab for five years. Never had flea or tick problems. I have seen fleas running off the lab as to say "We got to get away from this. April 5, 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by Frontline Plus I have used this for years and have never fully gotten rid of fleas on my indoor dogs and cats. I had an economic crisis and let go flea treatment to save on the budget. Suddenly we are overrun with fleas! It wasn't perfect, but its better than the alternative. January 13, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by The Best We have used Frontline Plus on our 3 Yorkies all their lives. We have never had a flea or tick problem on any of them. When it comes time to put it on them, they just lower their heads and accept it. November 11, 2009
Rated 4 out of 5 by frontline plus I disagree with a former trier. I have used frontline plus the last 2 summers. I start in april & use the last dose in sept. I order the 6 month supply. I don't have flees in the house nor the dog. And she is outside half And half I would say. So keep using it!!! I love this stuff. And it is the cheapest place to get it!!!!!! ( at least around here October 28, 2009
Rated 4 out of 5 by Frontline is useless on my dog I have used Frontline on my 20 lb dog and it has been worthless. The fleas are multiplying!!! I am not even going to use the 3rd month supply. October 19, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by Frontline is Best Frontline is the only flea and tick med I use on my 3 dogs and Dog.com sells it for less than anywhere else. Works on long and short hair dogs. Tip:do not bathe your pet for 1 week after you apply it. August 20, 2009
Rated 4 out of 5 by Frontline Tick infestation is high where we live. I have used Frontline from the beginning with our two Shih Tzus and one Jack Russell. We have never seen a flea, and only dead, dried up ticks. We wait a few days after their bath before applying the Frontline, so as to have enough natural skin oil to help distribute the medication. Rated 1 out of 5 by don't waste your money I used frontline plus on my two dogs and my cat. It is worthless, they all still have fleas, although we haven't had any ticks. Our big dog is senstive to fleas and we just got back from the vet,$160.00 dollars to "fix" the flea problem that we shouldn't have because we've been using frontline. So now I have almost $200 worth of flea medicine that dosn't work. Rated 5 out of 5 by Frontline Plus Give the best protection This product is used by both professionals and homeowners alike. It gives the best protect that money can buy for your per. One note, If you bathe your dog, DO NOT put Frontline on the pet for at least 3 days after you bathe the pet. The reason? Your dog/cat has skin/hair oils that need to be replaced after you wash your pet and Frontline is systemic, the oils help to keep the Frontline on the pet, and get it into his/her system. Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastical We have 2 Cocker Spaniels and I must say hands down this product is the best for flea protection! We tried using generic things and were sorry because we wound up getting flea's everytime! I wouldnt use another product again!!! Way to go Frontline Plus!!! April 22, 2009
Rated 4 out of 5 by Frontline Plus compared to Advantix Last summer I switched to Advantix and boy was I sorry. My poor dogs had fleas and ticks after a bath because the advantix washed away with the bath water. My dogs had terrible allergic reaction and skin problems until I switched back to frontline plus. Won't do that again. I'm Frontline forever. February 21, 2009
Rated 4 out of 5 by Frontline Plus Very Effective We have used Frontline Plus since we got our dog in 2002 and have NEVER had a flea or tick problem. We currently live in central Florida where fleas can be especially bad, and it has worked flawlessly for the 4 years we have been here. January 5, 2009
