My 50lb pit mix LOVED this bone. I thought I had found the perfect solution to his home alone boredom, but he'd chewed it through it completely in a couple days. Disappointing. The search for a stuffable treat toy that holds up to my dog's iron jaws continues.

This has been Banded's favorite toy since he was a puppy! He now is 1 1/2 & weighs 90 pounds and I just ordered a new one, since the original is getting pretty shabby. I read the review about the Rino Bone that Maggie has, so I ordered one for Banded. I picked up pieces of black rubber within fifteen minutes of giving it to him, and after two days, I threw it away! In My house the Rhino Bone cant hold a candle to the Extreme Kong Goodie Bone!

My 60 lb. boxer/hound mix loves it! She is a toy destroyer, but this has lasted months and is her favorite bedtime treat/toy. We stuff it with a nylabone "naturals" treat sticks, which are the perfect size to fit the hole with a bit sticking out each end, or with a rawhide poked in. She gets the majority of the treat quickly, but then she spends 30 minutes gnawing out the little bits from inside. It gives her lots of entertainment and has stood up to her chewing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Donna Tough toy for aggressive chewers not so tough.
I tried one of these Kong goodie bones, thinking that it would hold up like the Rino Bone put out by Nylabone. It didn't come close.
My girl loves rubber toys but has a very strong jaw and eats through toys quickly. The Rino bone lasts her months. Well were I moved to no place closer than 100 miles carries them.
Since I was ordering through dog.com I figured that I would try one of the goodie bones as they are advertized for aggressive chewers. It got here Maggie loved it, but it didn't last one day. Within a couple of hours I had to trash it as she had shreded the end.
I don't recommend this toy for any dog that likes to get down and chew on toys.

This Kong Xtreme Goodie Bone is great. My Airedale's teeth can sink in but he has not been able to tear it apart. However, he can get the treats out within 10 minutes

Our american bulldog has a very strong jaw and makes it her job to bit through whatever toy she gets. I was hoping the extreme kong would give her more of a challenge. Well not really. I still get the bones to stuff with the paste and her treats but as soon as the treat is gone the toy has to be taken away or she eats it too, many vomiting episodes of chewed up rubber toys. As with any toy--please watch your dog carefully.
