PetSafe Easy Walk Dog Harness

The Easy Walk Harness is designed to gently discourage your dog from pulling on the leash. It is easy to fit and comfortable to wear. The Easy Walk Harness makes walking enjoyable for you and your dog. Traditional harnesses can actually encourage dogs to pull harder because of the “opposition reflex.”  That’s the reflex that makes sled dogs do what they do. The unique front-chest leash attachment of the Easy Walk Harness helps you steer your dog to the side and redirect his attention toward you. The chest strap rests across your dog's chest instead of putting pressure on the delicate throat; so there is no choking or gagging.

  • Discourages pulling on the leash
  • Quick-snap buckles on shoulder and belly straps provide easy on and off
  • Four adjustment points provide maximum comfort and reliable fit
  • Martingale loop at chest prevents twisting
  • Belly strap is a complementary color, making it easy to tell which strap goes over the shoulders and which strap goes under the belly

Rated 4 out of 5 by Works well, tough to get on though I have used this product on a 115lbs mastiff mix and a 26lbs terrier mix and it works well on both. It can be a little confusing to get on, and if the dog is wiggly be prepared for a bit of a struggle, but it works great so it is worth it. August 18, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for My Pit Mix I recently adopted a 6 month old pitbull mix from my local shelter. He was (and is) super strong for still being a puppy and had zero leash manners. Initially, I was going to purchase the Gentle Lead, but I didn't like how it looked like muzzle - especially to other people who wouldn't understand it's purpose. After about 6 or 7 walks with Easy Walk, my dog heels like a champ. Granted, I had to throw some treats his way at first to reinforce his great work, but now he can walk all over the neighborhood right next to me without being rewarded. One point of advice, though - do not ask your pup to jump into your vehicle or run with this on. It's made for walking only. June 2, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome product I cannot believe how great this product is. I am a big man with a large Labrador/Greyhound mix. This dog is very strong and hard enough for me to control much less my wife. Every time my dog would pull on the leash attempting to run after a bird or a squirrel it would hurt my elbow. After I put the Easy Walk harness on my dog I cannot believe how easy it is to control her. Thank you Easy Walk I have bought another one just in case. March 20, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by The best! Our chocolate lab is extremely strong. Traditional methods of training with the choke collar left my shoulder aching and walking was no fun. We tried the electronic collar and I love it and still use it for long distance off leash control. But on walks this is the ticket! What a difference it made for us!! Can't say enough good things. Rated 2 out of 5 by Cheaply made I purchased two of these for my young dogs. One pulls and is somewhat corrected the pulling but the straps never stay in place. They loosen while on the walk and the harness then does not work as it should. They have also stared to come apart and we have only had them a few months. I would never buy this product again. I also contacted to manufacturer to see if I receive defective ones and they told me that I needed to learn how to use it properly. October 3, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Device! This is good for mild pullers. I had the Gentle Leader head collar for my dog and she refused to walk. We got her this and it works amazingly. She still hates wearing it because it gives us more control and she drag us everywhere! June 21, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by This harness is great and if it's causing rashes and rubbing the skin raw on your dog, it's probably too tight. My dog just chewed through hers after managing to pull it through her kennel while I was at school, so I'm in the market for a new one, unfortunately. Getting it from a pet store isn't an option, because they're around $30 there. I tried regular harnesses, my dog pulled and made hikes hell for me. I tried the face harness, she hated it and I wasn't too fond if it myself. Finally got this and it's wonderful. Had been using it successfully for about six months until the buckle was chewed today. Highly recommended. June 1, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Learned the hard way!!!!! This harness is the best! My husband I learned the hard way. We just got back from a weekend away with our 5 month old Cane corso/blue nose pit mix. I thought his Easywalk was getting a bit tight, (5 months and 60 lbs of muscle) so I bought him the next size. Long story short, it wasn't until we were on our way I realized it was too big. I stopped at a local pet shop where we were to pick another one up, but I had to get a regular harness. Let's just say, we learned the EASY WALK does work. IT stops them from having the control. My husband and I will make sure we have it next time we go away, for sure! I definitely recommend it, but you have to make sure it fits your dog correctly or it won't work! May 31, 2011

Why did you choose this? Store
Have used before. It works with pullers.

Want to spare my dog's neck while teaching him not to pull

I chose this harness because I have two little dogs that like to pull. This harness keeps them from pulling and is a great training tool. This is the best harness that I have purchased and I have purchased several to help with the pulling. None of them worked, this one does.

where can i find sizes that will tell me associated girth requirements? I do see the image that helps you yo measure, but no sizes in inches.
Leanne on Feb 3, 2014
Best Answer: The measurements are listed right under "item specifications"... Right above the color combinations. It might be confusing because it says "L" which usually means length, but in this case it refers to girth.
