Rated 1 out of 5 by folks who have purchased this- can you tell me... It appears that there may be a metal rod that goes across the center of this bed. Is there? If so it seems like it would be most uncomfortable for a big dog who needed the entire width of bed. If someone could tell me "yes or no" it would be very helpful. Thanks! December 3, 2012
