Nice High Class Private Cat Box, 3/14/2011

Cat Washroom - Nightstand Pet House from Plymouth, MN

This is the ultimate in good furniture for both the pampered and fickle cat and the stylized and well designed haus frau that makes going to the potty box as a cat walk into a secret powderroom made just for the feminine mystique of those adorable, fuzzy, soft, cuddly, feline friends of ours that just somehow end up demanding that they look just as pretty in thier specialized watercloset! Only for the most cleanly and self pampered egos of a Roaring Lionise.

Looks Nice but not worth the money, 1/2/2008

I purchased this cat washroom. It looks as pictured. Some minor assembly problems since a couple holes weren't drilled properly. The big problem though is if your cat pees over the edge of the litter box. This is made from MDM and eventually it soaks into the MDM and the smell is impossible to get rid of. Also, the seams aren't sealed (you should epoxy yourself if you get it) so if your cat does pee over the edge of the litter box it can leak below the cat washroom - making it useless. I have 3 cats (all used it) and put a 6" high litterbox inside. I used with wee wee pads underneath the litter pan to no avail. After 3 months it stunk so badly I had to trash it. I then bought a small stainless steel cage (like at the vets office) and put the litter box in that - works like a charm with no problems. Don't know where the 4 star ratings came from above - not from me. Overall a 2star rating from me.
