Feeding Instructions
For an average puppy with normal activity, the following amounts of products are recommended: Using a standard 8 oz. measuring cup.
Weaning Pups: Start puppies on Beneful Healthy Growth for Puppies as early as they begin to ribble at solid foods, generally at 3 to 4 weeks of age.
Adult Dogs: Most adult dogs can be fed once daily. However when high activity or other factors create a higher food intake, tiwce-a-day feeding is recommended.
Feeding for reproduction: Beneful Healthy Growth for Puppies provides the extra nutrition needed by reproducing females in stages in gestation and lactation. Food consumption may very during gestation, so feed the amount needed to maintain the pregnant female's good body condition. Food intake may double or even quadruple during lactation.
Easy to Feed: No need to add anything for flavor or nutrition. Feeding Tip: When switching to Beneful Healthy Growth for Puppies, it's a good idea to allow seven to ten days for transition. Gradually add more Beneful Healthy Growth and less of the previous food to your pet's dish each day until the changeover is complete.
