The Multi Vista is an exceptionally versatile cage, ideal for breeders, pet stores and people with multiple birds. the base unit (pictured above) can be purchased alone, allowing the flexibility of one large "vertical" cage or divided horizontally to create two smaller cages. Additional expansion units (sold separately) allow even greater flexibility of having one, two, three, four or more cages. You start with the regular cage. This can be used as a single or double cage. If you add the extension you can have up to four cages. You have to have the regular first, the extension won't work without it.
We have the regular and extension set up as four cages and it's the best setup we've ever used!

THE PICTURE SHOWS UPPER AND LOWER CAGES WITH A SPACE IN BETWEEN BOTH CAGES SO IF I BUY THIS CAGE IT COMES AS SHOWN WITH THE SPACE INBETWEEN ?

Why is there a space between the top and bottom cages? Look like a lot of unutilized space..

Best Answer: You can remove the grate and create a larger bottom cage or keep it in and use the space for a bird light. The door on the light box area is a little strange and opens to the inside of the cage and I found the latch system does not keep the door closed flush to the cage. I had to use cable ties to make it more secure otherwise it has too much movement.
