Rated 3 out of 5 by A little dissappointed I have the Avian Intelligence flight cage as well, I wanted to order another one but was informed that they were discontinued. Bird.com told me this A & E cage was the replacement. The dimensions are 3 inches larger front to back, then the Avian Intelligence, I was really excited about this cage. I got it today, it was well packaged, but I'm dissappointed in it's construction. There are a few complaints I have, comapared to the Avian Intelligence cage. -This costs $50 more then what I paid for the Avian Intelligence flight. -The lock on the door is extremely hard to open and close, I hope my Husband can maybe oil it or something. -The "breeder" door design is terrible. They are flimsy and I'm worried about my GCC getting his toes stuck in the gaps. -The biggest issue, IMO, is that the bottom is not flush with the tray edges, there is a gap between the back of the cage and the tray. My Avian Intelligence cage has it so the frame actually meets and the tray is under that, where this cage has no supportive frame along the back edge where the tray goes. So, the back panel of the cage is slightly bowed causing this gap. I just think it's poor design. Over all, my GCC will do fine in this cage, and it offers a little more room then the Avian Intelligence... I just wish they made that one still. :( April 20, 2011
